It is the easiest thing here to do in a group, which is why it is the one most often booked for a birthday or a team.

What people ask about candle making

Do I choose my own scent?
Yes, at the table, from what is there on the day. Most people blend two rather than take one straight, and you smell it before it goes in rather than after.
How long before I can burn it?
Give it a day or two. The wax is set before you leave, but a candle burns better and lasts longer if it has cured properly first, and the first burn should be long enough to melt right to the edge.
Is it messy?
Less than people expect. The pour is the only part with hot wax in it, it is done one at a time, and the table is covered before anybody sits down.
Can I make more than one?
Usually, depending on the vessel. Say so when you book and the materials are counted for it.
What kind of wax is it?
Soy, which burns cooler and cleaner than paraffin and washes out of a vessel with hot water when the candle is done, so what you take home is reusable rather than disposable.
Is this good for a group?
It is the easiest of the five for a mixed group: everybody finishes at the same time, nobody needs a steady hand, and the choosing gives people something to talk about.
