Artful Creative Table is Inas Felfel. She runs hands-on creative workshops in Halifax and Bedford: kintsugi, decoupage, mosaic, candle making and resin, for twelve people at a time.
Every one is set up before anybody arrives. The table is laid, the materials are portioned, the room is ready. You sit down, you make something, and it goes home with you.

None of this is a manifesto. It is what makes a two-hour workshop worth the afternoon rather than a class you sat through.
The room is set before you arrive
The table is laid, the materials are portioned, the tools are at each place. Nobody spends the first twenty minutes finding things.
Twelve, not forty
A room that size means she can actually get to everybody, and it means the person beside you is somebody you end up talking to.
No experience is assumed
Every activity is taught from the beginning. Most people arrive having never done it, which is the normal way to arrive.
You leave with the thing you made
Not a photograph of it. The exception is resin, which cures after the session, and that is said before you book rather than after.
