How many people can come?
The public workshops run at twelve, which is the size of the room she rents in Bedford. A private session is set up for the number coming, so tell us the headcount and the activity and you get back what is workable.
Do you come to us?
Yes, in the Halifax region. She brings the materials and sets up on your table. A room can also be arranged if you would rather not host, and the cost of that room is itemised separately rather than buried in the per-person price.
What does it cost?
It depends on the activity, the number of people and where the room is, and you get all three back itemised in one reply: the price per person, the smallest group that works, and the travel cost if we are coming to you. Nothing is held back for a phone call.
Does everyone need experience?
No. Every activity is taught from the beginning and every material is on the table before anyone sits down. Groups usually arrive with a range of confidence, and the two-hour shape is built for that.
How long does a session take?
The public workshops run two hours, which is enough to finish a piece in most of the activities. Kintsugi and epoxy both cure after the session, so those pieces are finished when you take them home rather than in the room.
How far ahead should we ask?
Sooner is better, because materials are bought for the group and a room may need booking. Send the date you are thinking of even if it is not fixed, and you will be told straight away whether it works.
